the renegade

Last year I talk about my love for these lovely ladies.  I have a renegade lady this year.  We didn’t plant any seeds this year, and I am not sure why,  but look what has made her way into our garden.  I am referring to her as the renegade lady.

Look how tall she is.

I might just have 1 but I will cherish my time with her.

  2. You can probably thank the birds for transporting the seed for you. That is definitely worth preserving as a blog memory.

  3. Oh. My. Word. That thing is huge! And beautiful. Wow! I've seen some sunflowers in my day, but none like that. Enjoy! :)

  4. she's statuesque for sure...and she really does look like a renegade lady...so funny! Hopefully she'll drop some seeds and you'll have her children to enjoy next summer.

  5. Oh! You need to read the children's book, The Tiny Seed, by Eric Carle. It is the life story of the Renegade Lady!
